Currently rereading Dune and looking forward to playing a solo game of this! Question: I've never played Traveller, so I had to look up a thing or two for character creation. Do you intend for players to start enlisting in careers with their characters at age 18 like (I think?) original Traveller does, or was there a different intended starting age?
Been thinking about this more, and I think Dune is less concerned with age and age-related consequences than Traveller is. So I don't think it necessarily matters what age you start at, but people should probably pick an age and track their aging! Just so they can say how old they are.
I think the section "Sex and Gender in the Imperium" is particularly great. But all of it really. I am excited to play this solo and also read Speedrune!
