A downloadable game
10XX is a game about resisting the Norman invasion of England. You are marginalized Englanders—poor, outcast, ignored—trying to protect your neighbors and scream a violent scream before your inevitable death.
This game is a bummer, but it is NOT about national purity or fighting immigrants (fascists fuck off). It's a game about how we fight back when the obscenely rich turn their violence toward the downtrodden.
The free demo is a text file of the game in plain modern English. Paying gets you illuminated PDFs in plain English and in faux Old English, along with an illustrated character sheet.
This game is based onthe 24XX rules by Jason Tocci. It was made for Yuri Runnel's Illuminated Manuscript Jam.

this game has great politics, the art is awesome, and the "old english" translation is extremely cool. I mean plus it's a good game. but all aaron's games are good so you probably knew that already!
